Costs & Fees for Ulster Woodturning
...how much it costs!

The Range of Costs - Ulster Woodturning 2025/26

Unfortunately, there are costs associated with running this group, including paying demonstrators, insurance, rent, heating & electric...you get the idea!

Annual Membership

£40/adult
£50/family*

From April - March
*assumes two adults. Contact Paul for details.

Tuesday Nights

£4/member
£6/non-member

You do not have to join Ulster Woodturning to attend these nights, however a discount applies if you do.

Saturdays

£10/member
£15/non-member

£25-35 All Day - varies

There is a variable cost associated with Saturdays, depending on where the Demonstrator originates from.

Please Note:

From above you can see there is clear benefit from becoming a member. You enjoy discounts on attending Tuesdays and Saturdays as well as having a vote at Meetings (not very frequent, thankfully!).
Being a member brings other benefits, including officially part of the club and supporting the activities, displaying turned pieces at public events and most importantly, an active participant in our events!.

The Annual BBQ held in August along with the Tool Jumble Sale is exceptionally popular and is super afternoon to talk 'all things woodturning' and meet others.

Should you have any queries about fees, please contact Paul Finlay (Treasurer) on 07842 793264. Alternatively, by email via the Contact page.
